8 Hours of Spa Motos🇧🇪

Well that was mega! It’s not for nothing they call it the most beautiful track in the world! Enjoyed every minute of riding around that place, and I think we did a good job in the race as well!🙏🏼

It was definitely one of the difficult ones to learn as the track goes for almost 7 kilometers, and the track conditions were changing every 15 minutes during the whole week. I think we spent more time changing tyres than riding the bike on thursday…

P10 in the race🔨 It’s a shame we first had an electrical issue in the bike, and a bit later ran out of fuel and lost a lot of time to get the bike back on track. After that we did a very good race climbing from P34 to finish P22 overall and 10th in SST.

Biggest thanks goes to the @pitlaneendurance team that worked so hard every session to do the best result possible!

Now a few weeks time and we’re racing on home soil!🇫🇮🤫

Dump from the 48th edition of 24 Heures Motos🇫🇷

That’s one week to remember🙏🏼 The result was not what it could’ve been, but what a week it was, one of the best experiences so far!

The race went so well for the first part. Our pace was not very strong on dry conditions, but we were better on the wet/mixed conditions, so we managed to climb the ranks all the way from 31st on the beginning hour, to sitting on 11th place (4th in SST) after the 12 hour mark. We did a very constant race as well, until we hit a couple technical problems early in the sunday morning, which dropped us a few positions. Later during the day we had a hard crash as well, that made us drop out of the race few hours before the chequered flag. It is what it is, overall the feelings are still super happy about the week🤌🏼

The biggest thanks to the whole @pitlaneendurance crew and my teammates that did a superb job through the whole week!🫶🏼

1st qualifying and night practice went overall well yesterday!🙏🏼

P12 in my own qualifying. Got a bit too excited and tried to push for a good lap, however here at this kind of a track where the flow is eveything, it doesn’t work like that. Was simply too much in a race mode in my head to adjust my riding to an ”easier and softer” style😅 Glad that my teammates did a good job, and we still have the 2nd qualifying to decide our starting place this morning!

Night practice was simply the coolest thing ever!🥵 The bad visibility, feel of speed and everything just made it so incredible. Now I’m waiting for the race even more to ride the track at night.

Pre Mans 2025 🔨

EWC official test in Le Mans done and dusted. Got to know the track, found some pace and set up the bike on a good base for the race week☑️

Being sick made riding pretty uncomfortable so my own performance wasn’t as good as I really would’ve wanted here. Was really hard to put complete laps or even sectors together, eventhough the pace was not far off. Anyways an important test for the whole team, let’s continue the work in a couple weeks at @24heuresmotos 🙌🏼

FIM Endurance World Championship 2025 🤝🏼

So exctied to start the journey in the endurance world championship together with @pitlaneendurance this year! It will be my first time stepping up to the big tracks, but also the first time in the endurance world so the excitement is real. We have a strong and steady lineup so can’t wait to see what we can do out there!🙏🏼

We did an amazing job on the final weekend, finally taking home the 🥇 after trying so hard to achieve it all season. And not just that but being the fastest over the weekend and fighting hard for the win also in the second race of the weekend.

In the second race I was in a good place to overtake the lead on the last laps, but when we actually passed for the last lap, the lap counter still showed ”2” and I thought we have two laps to go and decided to leave my attack for the last lap, but I never got to try it as that was actually the last lap of the race🫠 It’s a shame that we missed the second victory for such an unfortunate reason, but the important thing is that we were able to put in our best performance of the season on that race!☝🏼

Olipahan rankat 400 metriä…. Täysin kylmiltään elämäni ensimmäiset juoksukilpailut, meni niin kuin voi olettaa. Alkuerän jälkeen tuli puolisen tuntia keräiltyä itteetä ensiavussa, päässä huippas niin paljon että makuuasennosta ei pystyny liikkuun. Koko alkuerien 31. nopein aika ja suoraan A-finaaliin silti🤣

Ensiavusta kun pääsi niin kroisantti naamaan ja uudestaan mäkeen. Finaalin lähtöviivalla tärisi sen verran jalat vielä että se peli oli jo menetetty ennen alkua. No eipä siinä saumaa muutenkan olisi ollut kun maailmanluokan urheilijoita viivalla. Ja @rodmunen tietenkin.

Mixed feelings from last weekend’s Finnish Superbike finale at Botniaring, but very grateful how the championship went overall and how we got to end it!🙏🏼

First of all, congrats champ @eemelilahti and @iprmotoracing 👑

We were unlucky to end the last race with an electrical issue on the fourth lap, but at least we got a good battle for the 2nd place in race 1.

We take home the🥉 in my first ever superbike championship. Didn’t get the win that I was really waiting for, but the results are quite what I predicted.

Race results: double 🥈🥈. I of course wanted to win, but with the total of 40 laps that we got during the whole weekend, it really couldn’t have gone much better.🤷🏼‍♂️

I noticed pretty quickly that this is the kind of track that you need to know better than your own house in order to go fast around it. As we didn’t have any test at all, the premises were not really ideal, but we still pulled off a good fight for the win! I came from 17th on the grid to take 2nd place in the first race, and gave it a go for the win in the second race. Not knowing the track well enough just led to lots of small mistakes when trying to push for faster laps, so I couldn’t keep the lead till the end. We gave it a good try!🙏🏼

Few days at home now and then we head for the Finnish Superbike season finale in Botniaring!🏁

The practise session was ran on a wet track, and the practise itself was not bad at all. 5th fastest time overall and very important laps, as they were my first ones around @gellerasen. Superpole race in the afternoon wasn’t the strongest one, couldn’t start the bike in the grid and gave a one lap headstart for the rest of the field. Did eight laps in total and at least we got to test the bike on a dry track for the first time. Ended up with the third fastest time, so tomorrow will be very interesting as I’m starting the first race from the last row. Let’s see what we can come out with!🙃

Well that’s about where my finnish championship hopes went down🫠

We’ve been struggling a lot during the whole season, but for the first time, for five laps, I thought I will take the race win and I can win the championship. That was until I lost the rear on the second last lap. I saw Eemeli crashing in the front on the third lap, and I thought now’s my chance to take the win and make a gap in the championship. I was following Ville in the lead for many laps and knew exactly where to make the pass on the last lap, but that rear tyre slide got me really off guard and just couldn’t save it… It is what it is. Sorry for the team who prepared everything so well and did their best to deliver the results!🙏🏼

We had an interesting race in the R7 Cup as well, accidentally riding through the pitlane during the race, but still managing to be 2nd on the finish line😅 I had a very good gap already from the first lap, but I was pushing a bit more lap by lap. Midway through the race I had a big moment on the second last turn, and getting on the breaks into the last turn I noticed my breaks are not gripping at all. Had to go straight and take the pit entry lane to avoid going out of track. And well, after riding through the pit lane and getting back on track, I found myself somewhere around P7 with three laps to go. The race just got a whole lot more interesting and I just went into a full attack mode to try and catch the lead again. Three corners to go I finally catch the leading pair, and I try to make my passes in the last two corners. Unfortunately the rider in front of me crashes as I try to pass him and I have to avoid him, so I couldn’t make the pass for the 1st place. But that was some real fun racing in the R7 Cup again, as it always is!🤪

What a weekend it was, one of the best ones in my life so far!🙌🏼 My first ever experience of road racing and let’s just say it did not disappoint. The adrenaline just hits different when riding 310 km/h on an urban street🫠

Very satisfied with our work and riding as well. We went into this weekend with no expectations, but ended up battling in the leading group on Sunday. It’s a shame both of the Sunday’s races got red flagged after just a few laps, while riding on 6th and 3rd position. In the end:

Open SBK Race 2: cancelled
IRRC SBK Race 2: P8

Thanks to the team that really made this weekend better than I hoped for! It was also amazing to see such a big crowd cheering and coming out to enjoy road racing. I guess we’ll have to go for some podiums next year!😉

What a weekend in @pro_superbike ! 2 x🥈 from first round with @yamahateamscandinavia 🙏🏼

We did a good second race yesterday. Eventhough I was aiming for more, this is what we had this time. We know we could’ve been faster but it’s difficult to max your potential in this sport. So overall happy about the weekend and the work we did here! Now we improve our weak points and go better prepared for the second round in August!❤️‍🔥

Biiig thanks for the team putting in the work and always having my back! The squad was working super well, couldn’t ask for much more!

What a weekend in @pro_superbike ! 2 x🥈 from first round with @yamahateamscandinavia 🙏🏼

We did a good second race yesterday. Eventhough I was aiming for more, this is what we had this time. We know we could’ve been faster but it’s difficult to max your potential in this sport. So overall happy about the weekend and the work we did here! Now we improve our weak points and go better prepared for the second round in August!❤️‍🔥

Biiig thanks for the team putting in the work and always having my back! The squad was working super well, couldn’t ask for much more!

Day 2 of @pro_superbike wrapped up, main day tomorrow!🤌🏼

Very happy about the position we’re in right now, the bike is starting to feel good and we will surely have some proper speed tomorrow!💨

Wet conditions on the Superpole race today, had to avoid a rider in front of me on the last lap and dropped to P4. Unfortunate to drop out of podium for such a stupid mistake, but focus on the main races tomorrow!

We’ve been quite fast already from the first practise, last night the team did a tremendous job with the bike and now we’re starting to be very competitive! Some fine tuning and we’ll be ready for racing later today!

Will be rocking it all year and hoping to bring it to the top of the podium as many times as possible!🙏🏼

The design is made by the one and only @maximfdesign 🤌🏼 The helmet came out as an absolute banger and couldn’t be any happier about the result!

Finally got to kick off the 2024 race season, and I had almost forgotten how proper racing feels like! The season opener wraps up with a double 🥈 in Superbike, and a double 🥇 in the newly launched Yamaha R7 Cup!
